Who Designed Thrasher Font?
“Roger Excoffon” is the designer of the Banco font.
Excoffon studied law at the University of Aix-en-Provence and then apprenticed in a print shop in Paris. Upon graduation, he founded his own advertising agency. He was the design director for a small foundry in Marseille, Fonderie Olive. In 1947, he co-founded Studio U+O, named after the Greek expression Urbi et Orbi.
The font used on the Logo is Banco Typeface, which was originated in 1951 by Roger Excoffon. He is known as a master in this field.
